Hi, I’m Ken, a semi-retired U.S. veteran. Since retiring, one of my favorite things has been watching videos of people helping strangers in simple, generous ways: buying groceries for someone who needs them, giving a person a little money when times are hard, or finding exactly the thing someone needs.
Every time, I catch myself thinking, “I wish I could do that.” My heart yearns to bring that kind of help into real life, one small act of kindness at a time.
That hope is part of why I built ThisandThatShoppe. Here you’ll find thoughtful gifts and useful finds, including items for people and pets, and chemo beanies. Some collections highlight causes close to my heart, including helping pets, autism acceptance, and diabetes awareness.
I’m building the shop with the hope that its earnings can help fund random acts of kindness in the community. This is a goal I’m working toward, one step at a time.
